North West of England

Chris Davies is one of eight MEPs representing the North West of England.

The North West covers an area stretching from Crewe in the South to Carlisle in the North, and from Blackpool in the West to Burnley in the East.

The region has a population of nearly 7 million people - making it bigger than 11 of the 27 nations within the European Union! The North West has more people than Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, Cyprus, Malta and even Denmark.

The five counties of the region are Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria.
